Hotel Casa Noble, is the site of an aristocratic mansion from the XVII  Century  in the heart of the  VERY NOBLE AND LOYAL CITY OF SANTIAGO DE LOS CABALLEROS DE GOATHEMALA,  name given to La Antigua Guatemala, by King Charles III of Spain, known as the King Architect, for relocating the Court in Madrid and beautifying the city, as well as lending his support to various American capitals to follow its example.
Under his influence, La Antigua Guatemala became one of the most beautiful cities in America and even today, it's famous for its stately and outstanding unique architecture.


The original house that today is the home of  Hotel Casa Noble,  is known not only for its beauty but for its legend of love that lives in its ambiance.  It has been told that in this house lived a beautiful young lady, named  Doña Amelia Zúñiga de la Cueva, engaged to be married to an officer of the Spanish Kingdom who, before sailing to Spain promised to return and marry her.

 
However, his ship was lost at sea. Doña Amelia was distraught and swore she would never marry.    In memory of her beloved she built a fountain dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which depicts a beautiful medallion with the emblem of "Ave María Regina".   This fountain was decorated daily with exotic tropical flowers brought by her indian servants from the unexplored Guatemalan tropical rainforest, honoring Doña Amelia's fiancee.
 
Hotel Casa Noble, opens its doors in La Antigua Guatemala, forever, with the serence splendor of its architecture and the warmth of its people.

Hotel Casa Noble, esta ubicado en una aristocrática mansión del Siglo  XVII,  en el corazón de LA MUY NOBLE Y MUY LEAL CIUDAD DE SANTIAGO DE LOS CABALLEROS DE GOATHEMALA,  título que le dió a La Antigua Guatemala el Rey Carlos III de España, conocido como el "Rey arquitecto", por el traslado de la Corte a Madrid y el embellecimiento de esta metrópoli, así como por el apoyo que brindó a varias capitales americanas para que siguieran su ejemplo.  Bajo su influjo, La Antigua Guatemala, fue en su època una de las ciudades màs bellas de Amèrica y sus mansiones señoriales se distinguen aùn hoy, por su singular arquitectura.    


 
La casa original que hoy alberga a Hotel Casa Noble, es conocida no sólo por su belleza sino también por la leyenda de amor que guarda entre sus paredes y que rememora el hermoso búcaro que la distingue; cuentan que allí vivió Doña Amelia Zúñiga de la Cueva, hermosa doncella prometida en matrimonio a un Oidor del Reino, quien marchó a España jurando volver para contraer nupcias con ella.
 


El Bucaro,  data del año 1730, sin embargo el galeón en el que navegaba naufragó en alta mar, quedando Doña Amelia inconsolable.   Ella decidió entonces no casarse nunca más, mandando a construir el famoso búcaro dedicado a la Virgen María Reina ("Ave María Regina", como rezan las iniciales del medallón que lo corona) en el que colocaba siempre exóticas flores tropicales traídas de las selvas aún no exploradas del país.
 

Hotel Casa Noble, Abre sus puertas en La Antigua Guatemala, para siempre, con tola la esplèndida serenidad de su arquitectura colonial y el calor humano de su gente.
